Gabrielle Antoinette Russo

Gabrielle Antoinette Russo currently serves as Deputy Director at Turkana Basin Institute since January 2024, following an extensive academic career at Stony Brook University, where appointments include Associate Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and Associate Vice Provost for Curriculum since July 2014, along with roles as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Prior experience includes positions as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at New York University and Northeast Ohio Medical University. Gabrielle Antoinette Russo earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physical and Biological Anthropology from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master's degree in the same field from Hunter College, and a Bachelor's degree from Dickinson College.
