Joyce Edgar Wellinger

Joyce Edgar Wellinger has extensive experience in higher education administration, currently serving as the Senior Assistant Dean for Finance and Administration at Stony Brook University's College of Business since December 1996. Joyce has held various roles at Stony Brook University, including Assistant Dean and Lecturer, teaching subjects such as Business Communications and Higher Education Administration. Joyce previously worked as the Director of Finance and Administration for both the College of Business and the School of Professional Development at Stony Brook University, and has also contributed to the Association for Continuing Higher Education as Chairperson for the Northeast Metropolitan Region from November 2012 to March 2019. Earlier career experiences include roles at Bergdorf Goodman and Variety, as well as financial analysis at the University Budget Office. Joyce holds an MBA in International Business from American University, a BA in Economics from Stony Brook University, and a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Study in Education Leadership and Management from Northeastern University.
