Kimberly Dixon

Kimberly Dixon serves as the Director of Employer Engagement & Diversity Recruitment at Stony Brook University since July 2000, leading efforts to connect employers with students through various talent pipeline programs and recruiting events. Under Kimberly's leadership, initiatives such as the Diversity Professional Leadership Network and the Career Center Partnership Council were developed to enhance relationships with diverse employers and support underrepresented students. Additionally, Kimberly has experience as a Regional Manager/Independent Associate at LegalShield, managing a nationwide sales force while promoting legal services for diverse communities. Prior roles include Local Director of Christian Education at St. Mary A.M.E. Zion Church and Paralegal at Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP. Kimberly holds an MA in Higher Education/Student Personnel Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a BA in Political Science from St. Lawrence University.
