Phil Doesschate

Phil Doesschate has over 40 years of experience in information technology and management, currently serving as the Director of Systems of Performance Analysis at Stony Brook University since July 1997. At Stony Brook, roles have included Director of IT Policy and Chief Information Security Officer, where significant accomplishments include establishing the campus information security program and implementing two-factor authentication. Earlier career highlights include leadership positions at Unisys, Paradigm Design Systems, Express Scripts, and the NYS Office of Information Technology Services, overseeing critical system development projects and managing large teams. Phil Doesschate also has a strong academic presence as an instructor of various college seminars focused on leadership, service, and policy analysis. An alumnus of Stony Brook University, Phil holds a Bachelor of Science degree.
