Shawn Genung began their work experience in 2002 at GeoEnergy Enterprises, where they served as the Chief Technology Officer. In 2006, they became the Managing Partner at Project Development Strategy & Validation. In 2010, Shawn joined SecureWaters, Inc. as the Chief Technology Officer. Shawn held this position until 2015 when they transitioned to Stony Creek Colors, initially serving as the Technology Development Manager and later progressing to the role of Head of Research & Development in February 2021.
Shawn Genung holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on New Product Development from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Shawn also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the same university. Additionally, Shawn pursued an MBA with a specialization in Operations Management from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee.
