Phil McClure

Phil McClure has extensive work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Phil is currently working as a Senior Software Developer and Co-founder at Stora since February 2021. Prior to this, they were a Co-founder & CTO at Lowdown starting from October 2019. Phil also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Rotor Videos from November 2019 to September 2021.

Before their roles at Rotor Videos and Lowdown, Phil co-founded Yomo and served as the company's CTO from June 2017 to October 2019. Phil was also the Head of Engineering at PiggyPot from October 2015 to June 2017.

In addition, they held various positions in different companies such as Lead Engineer at Bitnet Technologies Ltd. from July 2015 to October 2015, Senior Software Engineer at Rumble Labs from January 2011 to July 2015, and Senior Software Engineer at rehabstudio; design agency. from July 2009 to January 2011.

Phil started their career as a Software Engineer at EQUINITI ICS LIMITED in September 1998 and worked there until July 2009. During their tenure, they contributed to automating the build process of reporting and was involved in developing desktop software and intranet applications.

Phil McClure attended Bangor Academy and Sixth Form College from 1990 to 1996 for their secondary education. Phil then pursued higher education at The Open University, where they obtained a BSc (Honours) in Molecular Science from 2007 to 2008, followed by a BSc (Honours) in Computing from 2008 to 2009.
