Christian Swartling

Christian Swartling started their work experience in 1998 as a Senior Associate at Mannheimer Swartling Law Firm, specializing in project managing multi-jurisdictional cross-border finance transactions. Christian also gained experience in negotiating M&A, venture capital, and private equity transactions. In 2007, they joined GE Capital as the Legal Director for the Nordic countries, where they held responsibility for legal and compliance and reported to the Nordic Managing Director. Since 2010, they have been working at Stora Enso, starting as a Legal Counsel and progressing to various senior roles within the legal department, including Lead Counsel, Co-Head of Legal, and SVP Group Legal. Christian'scurrent position is SVP Group Legal, which they started in April 2023.

Christian Swartling obtained an LLM degree with a specialization in Corporate Law from New York University School of Law in 2003. Prior to that, they attended Lund University from 1993 to 1998 and earned another LLM degree in Law.
