Lasse Turtiainen

Lasse Turtiainen currently serves as Pilot Plant Manager at Stora Enso, leading a team of 11 experts in the development of Lignode, a battery technology derived from trees, since April 2022. Prior to this role, Lasse was Maintenance Manager at Keravan Energia from January 2020 to April 2022, overseeing maintenance operations, budget management, and customer relations for industrial clients, while also being a member of the production executive team. Lasse's career includes experience as Production Manager and Production Engineer at Höyrytys Oy, where responsibilities encompassed production and maintenance of energy services, as well as a foundational role at Kotkan Energia Oy as an Operator. Lasse holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Energy Engineering from Kymenlaakson Ammattikorkeakoulu, obtained between 2009 and 2013.
