Linkosalmi Lauri

Linkosalmi Lauri has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Linkosalmi started their career as a contractual military personnel at Puolustusvoimat - Försvarsmakten - Finnish Defence Forces in 2001. Linkosalmi then worked as a process worker at WalkiWisa in 2004 and as a sales person at Puukeskus Oy from 2002 to 2008. In 2008, they worked as a master thesis worker at UPM - The Biofore Company. Linkosalmi later joined Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan as a researcher and course assistant from 2009 to 2010. At Aalto University, they served as a researcher from 2010 to 2015. In 2015, they worked as a project manager at Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences. Linkosalmi then transitioned to Stora Enso, where they initially held the role of Product Stewardship Manager from 2016 to 2018. Linkosalmi was later promoted to Senior Manager, Product Stewardship, and finally, they currently hold the position of Director Product Sustainability since September 2022.

Linkosalmi Lauri has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Wood Technology from Lahti University of Applied Sciences, a Master of Science (Technology) in Wood Products Technology from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, and is currently a doctoral student (D.Sc. (Tech.)) in Wood product technology and environmental sciences at Aalto University.
