Rickard Arnqvist has held various roles at Stora Enso since 2009. Rickard started as the Senior Vice President and Head of Fibre Sourcing from April 2009 to March 2012. Rickard then transitioned to different roles within the company, including Vice President of Sourcing Development from December 2013 to November 2014, Senior Vice President and Head of Sourcing on an acting basis from September 2013 to November 2013, Senior Vice President of Sourcing Paper Division from December 2014 to September 2016, and finally, Senior Vice President of Sourcing Packaging Materials and Categories starting in October 2016.

Rickard Arnqvist holds a Master's degree in Forest Management from the SLU - Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. Rickard pursued this degree from 1985 to 1990.
