Tiina Pursula

Tiina Pursula is a seasoned sustainability leader currently serving as the SVP Sustainability for the Packaging Materials Division at Stora Enso since March 2018, where responsibilities include heading sustainability initiatives and participation in the Divisional Leadership team. Pursula has held various key positions, including Vice President and Director of Sustainability in the packaging sector, and has extensive experience in independent expert roles for the European Commission, focusing on bio and circular economy. Additional leadership roles include Deputy Chair of the 4evergreen Alliance, President of EXTR:ACT, and member of the board for multiple organizations including Espoon kaupunki. Pursula’s previous positions encompass significant contributions in sustainability consulting and research for the forest and chemical industries, along with advanced academic training from prestigious institutions like Aalto University and the Stockholm School of Economics.
