Yang Zhang

Yang Zhang currently serves as Senior Vice President and Lead Counsel for Ethics and Compliance at Stora Enso, a position held since September 2007, focusing on the implementation of ethics and compliance frameworks for multinational corporations in emerging markets. Previous roles at Stora Enso include Integrated Project Legal Director and Legal Counsel, where responsibilities encompassed business legal affairs and compliance. Prior to Stora Enso, Yang Zhang gained experience as an intern at HIL International Lawyers & Advisers and the Shanghai Oriental Notary Public Office. Educational qualifications include a Pathbuilder degree in Business/Managerial Economics from IMD, an LL.M. in International Business Law from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Economic Law from East China University of Political Science and Law.
