Gabrielle M.

Gabrielle M. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Gabrielle started their career in 2009 with an internship in mergers and acquisitions at Baker McKenzie, where they conducted legal research, updated legal documents, and provided proofreading and translation services.

From 2009 to 2011, Gabrielle worked at the University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Cancer Centre Project Manager, they led the development and establishment of a new ambulatory care service for teenagers and young adults. Gabrielle also served as a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Data Manager, collecting and analyzing patient and treatment data, developing databases and procedures, and producing data analysis reports.

In 2011, Gabrielle co-founded Geneix, a company focused on genetic testing and personalized medicine.

Gabrielle then joined Excelian in 2012, where they initially underwent an intensive training program in business analysis, financial products, and commodities. Gabrielle later worked as a Business Analyst, focusing on client relationship management for Murex Paris and providing client incident management support for Murex CES Back Office.

Since 2015, Gabrielle has been working at First Derivative. Gabrielle started as a Senior Business Analyst in the Client Services Department, where they worked on requirements gathering, report design, and project management. Gabrielle then transitioned to the Product Development Department, where they served as a User Experience (UX) Designer and Product Owner, gathering user requirements, illustrating design ideas, and translating concepts into wireframes and prototypes. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Business Analyst and UX designer in the Client Services Department, working on migrating client reports and providing customer support.

Gabrielle M. has a diverse education history. Gabrielle obtained their BSc in Genetics from UCL, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In 2008-2009, they attended Imperial College London and obtained their MSc in Molecular Medicine. Later on, in 2018-2019, Gabrielle pursued a MicroMasters degree in User Experience Research and Design from the University of Michigan. Alongside their degrees, Gabrielle has obtained various certifications, including Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2021. Gabrielle also completed multiple User Experience (UX) Research and Design courses from the University of Michigan between 2018 and 2019. Additionally, Gabrielle has certifications in Change Management, Yoga Teaching (RYT 200), Business Analysis, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Information Security and Cyber Risk Awareness, Leading SAFe, and PRINCE 2 - Practitioner.
