Rodrigo Zepeda

Rodrigo Zepeda has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Rodrigo is currently the Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder, and Global Expert Trainer at Storm-7 Consulting Limited, an international consulting company specializing in providing intelligence and support to financial services firms.

In addition to their role at Storm-7 Consulting, Rodrigo also serves as an Expert Reviewer for the Journal of Financial Regulation and Compliance, where they contribute analyses and reviews on financial regulation.

Rodrigo has also worked as a Global Expert Consultant at GLG, providing consultations to various financial services firms and corporations on specific topics, businesses, or industries.

Prior to their current roles, Rodrigo established and developed their own successful legal consulting business, catering to private clients in the UK and Middle East. Rodrigo has also held positions as an In-House Legal and Commercial Contracts Manager at quietrevolution, and as a Legal Assistant at Fulbright & Jaworski, Allen & Overy, Clifford Chance LLP, and Aon.

Throughout their career, Rodrigo has gained extensive experience in legal consultancy, project finance, financial regulation, global insurance, and reinsurance.

Rodrigo Zepeda has a diverse education history, spanning various fields and institutions.

In 1986 to 1993, they attended Crossley Heath Grammar School, where they obtained 9 GCSEs. Following this, from 1993 to 1994, they studied at Huddersfield New College, completing 4 A-Levels.

In 1994 to 1995, Rodrigo attended Universidad Evangélica de El Salvador, where they pursued a Biomedical Sciences Foundation Degree. Rodrigo then moved on to Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 1995 to 1998, earning a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the School of Law.

Rodrigo continued their legal education at Cardiff University Professional Legal Studies Centre from 1998 to 1999, completing the Bar Vocational Course.

Their postgraduate studies brought him to London Metropolitan University from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained an LLM (Master of Laws) in International and Comparative Business Law.

Throughout their education, Rodrigo also pursued certifications through The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI). Rodrigo became an Associate (ACSI) from 2004 to 2014 and a Chartered Member (MCSI) from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, they obtained various qualifications in investments, derivatives, international competition law, international mergers and acquisitions, and international capital markets.

In 2009, Rodrigo passed The New York State Bar Exam, qualifying as a lawyer in New York. Rodrigo also completed the U.S. Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam in the same year, administered by The National Conference of Bar Examiners.

Recently, Rodrigo has pursued additional certifications. In 2023, they obtained certificates in Foundations of Central Bank Law from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) through edX, as well as Introduction to Polkadot and Introduction to Blockchain and Web3.0 from WEB3 Foundation through edX.
