Byron Andrews

Director of RNA Analytics at STORM Therapeutics

Byron Andrews has worked in the field of biotechnology for over a decade. In 2007, they began their career as an Analytical Chemist at Huntingdon Life Sciences. Byron then moved on to pursue a PhD at the University of Cambridge, where they introduced a quantitative proteomic approach to the analysis of the assembly of mitochondrial complex I. After completing their PhD, they became a Postdoctoral Researcher at the MRC Mitochondrial Biology Unit, followed by a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology. In 2017, they joined STORM Therapeutics Limited, where they currently serve as the Director of RNA Analytics. At STORM Therapeutics, they lead a team of scientists that examine the consequences of inhibiting RNA modifying enzymes.

Byron Andrews obtained their PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge and their BSc in Biochemistry from The University of Sheffield.
