Joanna Obacz

Joanna Obacz has worked in several research-focused positions since 2011. Joanna began as a PhD student at the Biomedical Research Center of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute, RECAMO. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Oncogenesis, Stress & Signaling Laboratory, Centre de Lutte Contre le Cancer Eugène Marquis. At the University of Cambridge, they held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher and their main research project focused on the identification of novel therapeutic targets for mesothelioma. In 2022, they will join STORM Therapeutics Limited as a Senior Scientist.

Joanna Obacz obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Genomics and Proteomics from Masaryk University Brno in 2016, following a Master of Science (MS) in Biotechnology from Medical University of Silesia in 2011.
