Michael Melchert

Michael Melchert is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the MOG Coordinator and MOG Specialist at Story County Medical Center since May 2019. Prior experience includes a role as a Cardiac Rehab Intern at University of Iowa Health Care, focusing on Phase II patients, and a position at Unity Point Health where responsibilities involved assisting a Cardiac Rehab Specialist. Michael also gained experience through job shadowing in cardiac rehabilitation at Iowa River Landing and physical therapy at Mercy Hospital. Michael holds a degree in Health and Human Physiology from the University of Iowa, obtained in 2018, and a high school diploma from Monticello High School, awarded in 2014.
