Ashul Govil, MD, MBA has a diverse work experience in the medical field. In 2009, they began their career as a Resident Physician at Johns Hopkins Medicine. In 2012, they moved to the FDA as a Medical Device Fellow/Officer. In 2013, they became a Chief Cardiology Fellow at California Pacific Medical Center. In 2016, they joined Sutter East Bay Medical Group as a Cardiologist. In 2018, they served as a Medical Specialist at Google Brain/Google Health with Advanced Clinical. In 2020, they co-founded Story Health and became the Chief Medical Officer.
Ashul Govil, MD, MBA has an extensive education history. Ashul attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a BS in Biology from George Mason University from 2001 to 2004. Ashul then obtained an MD from the University of Virginia from 2004 to 2009, followed by an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the Medical Board of California, the Council for Certification in Cardiovascular Imaging, and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
