Åse Ericson has extensive work experience in various roles and companies.
Åse joined Storytel in 2019 and held several positions, including Chief Business Officer Nordics + Country Manager Sweden, CBO Global Brand, and CBO Marketing & Growth. In these roles, they were responsible for B2C growth in the Nordic region, developed marketing strategies, executed pricing strategies, and created a new content brand.
Prior to joining Storytel, Åse worked as Head of Nordic Operations & Country Manager Sweden from 2021 to 2022. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of B2C growth in the Nordic region and managed a team of 140+ employees.
Åse also worked as Country Manager Sweden at Storytel from 2019 to 2021. Åse'sresponsibilities included full P&L ownership, defining business KPIs, and implementing a data-driven decision-making approach.
Apart from their roles at Storytel, Åse served as a Pro Bono Board Member at Hillelfonden since 2020 and as a Board Member at Norstedts Förlagsgrupp since 2020.
Before joining Storytel, they worked at Novamedia Sverige AB from 2006 to 2019, where they held positions such as Head of Marketing & Sales and Head of TV & Event. In these roles, they were responsible for revenue generation, developing sales initiatives, managing budgets, and leading teams.
Prior to Novamedia, Åse worked at SVT as a TV-producer and web editor from 2000 to 2006.

Åse Ericson has a diverse education history. In 1996 to 1998, they attended Kalmar University, where they pursued a degree in Medieproducent (Media Production). Following this, in 1999 to 2000, they enrolled in Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts and obtained a degree in TV-producent (TV Producer).
Åse further expanded their education by attending UGL - Utvecklande Grupp och Ledare (Developing Groups and Leaders) in 2008, where they focused on Utvecklande ledarskap för grupper (Developing Leadership for Groups).
Years later, from 2013 to 2014, they joined Ledarskaparna and completed Chefs- och ledarskapsprogram (Management and Leadership Program). This was followed by their enrollment in the Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education from 2015 to 2016, where they completed the Executive Leadership Program, specializing in Affärsutveckling, Ledarskap (Business Development, Leadership).
Most recently, Åse Ericson enrolled in Self Leaders from 2020 to 2021, where they pursued a Chefs- och ledarskapsprogram (Management and Leadership Program).
