Yvette Green

Yvette Green is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in writing, editing, and literacy coaching. Currently serving as a Senior Writer at StoryTerrace since January 2023, Yvette has developed significant expertise in curriculum editing and resource development since 2004. Previous roles include a Staff Writer at The HBCU Career Center from July 2023 to June 2024 and a Literacy Coach at Prince George's County Public Schools, where Yvette focused on improving instructional practices and leading literacy initiatives from August 2016 to August 2022. Yvette's background also includes positions as a High School Teacher and English Department Coordinator at Prince George's County Public Schools, and lecturer roles at the University of Maryland and Morgan State University. Yvette holds an MA in English from the University of Maryland and a BA in English from Xavier University of Louisiana.
