Alexander Mats

Alexander Mats is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in forensic accounting, regulatory matters, and litigation consulting. Currently serving as Managing Director at Stout since June 2025, Alexander previously held leadership positions at HKA as Director and Associate Director, and also served as Associate Director at The Kenrich Group LLC, which is associated with HKA. Prior to that, Alexander was the Managing Director of Forensic Accounting Services at Capital Forensics, Inc., recognized for expertise in quantitative analysis as an expert witness. Alexander's career includes roles as Accounting Manager at Pampered Chef, Senior Associate at LaSalle Investment Management, Senior Accountant at JLL, and Auditor at Crowe Horwath LLP. Academically, Alexander holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master’s Degree in Forensic Accounting from Walter E. Heller College of Business - Roosevelt University.
