Brent Sloan

Brent Sloan, ASA-BV-IA, CEIV, currently serves as Managing Director at Stout, a position held since October 2022 following the acquisition of Vantage Point Advisors, where Sloan also held the Managing Director title from March 2019 to October 2022. With extensive experience in financial valuation, Sloan has led significant price allocation analyses under ASC 805 and IRC 1060, providing valuation services for numerous high-profile companies in the telecommunications and biopharmaceutical sectors. Previous roles include Financial Reporting Valuation Leader at Alvarez & Marsal and Senior Manager at Grant Thornton LLP, where Sloan contributed to national financial models and directed numerous valuation analyses for diverse clients, including leading firms in media, biotech, and consumer products. Education was completed at Seattle University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and minoring in Economics.
