Geoff Meltzner

Geoff Meltzner has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Geoff most recently worked at STR as the Vice President and Group Lead for Cyber Physical Systems, starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Deputy Group Lead for Cyber Assessment and Exploitation at STR from October 2020 to March 2023. Geoff also worked at VocaliD as the Director of Research and Technology from September 2015 to February 2020, and later as the Vice President of Research and Technology during the same period. Before that, they held the position of Section Lead for the Biological, Audio, and Speech Signals Group at BAE Systems from November 2004 to September 2015. Geoff's earlier work experience includes a role as a Senior Research Engineer at Alphatech from 2003 to 2004, and an Engineering Internship at Qualcomm, Inc. in 2000.

Geoff Meltzner pursued their academic journey with dedication, starting with their undergraduate studies at Harvey Mudd College from 1991 to 1995. Geoff earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering during this period. Geoff's thirst for knowledge led him to the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where they continued their educational pursuits. Geoff attended MIT from 1995 to 1999, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. This period marked their early specialization in the field. Nonetheless, Geoff's passion for research and gaining a deeper understanding of their chosen domain motivated him to pursue a Ph.D. at MIT as well. Consequently, from 1995 to 2003, Geoff Meltzner engaged in the rigorous program of Speech and Hearing Bioscience and Technology, ultimately obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree. Geoff's academic history highlights their dedication and commitment to expanding their knowledge and expertise in various fields.
