Jason Holmes

Jason Holmes is an accomplished professional in the field of undersea systems and acoustics, currently serving as Vice President at STR since July 2018, with previous roles including Group Lead, Chief Scientist, and Principal Scientist. Prior experience includes a tenure at BBN Technologies from June 2006 to July 2018, where Jason held the positions of Lead Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist. Earlier, as a Guest Student Investigator at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution from May 2003 to June 2006, Jason focused on acoustic research with Autonomous Underwater Vehicles. Jason holds both a B.S. and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University, completed between 1999 and 2007.
