Matthew Rivas

Matthew Rivas has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and research. Matthew currently holds the position of Chief Scientist at Systems & Technology Research since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Engineer at the same company from August 2020 to March 2023. Matthew also has a long history with L3Harris Technologies, where they served as a Principal System Engineer from October 1998 to August 2020. Matthew started their career at Lockheed Martin as a Senior Systems Engineer from February 1997 to October 1998.

Matthew Rivas obtained their PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University, where they studied from 1987 to 1995.
