Scott Adams

Scott Adams is a highly experienced data scientist with a robust background in astronomy and astrophysical research. Currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist at STR since March 2023, Scott previously held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Orbital Insight, where algorithms for geospatial big-data analytics were developed and deployed. Prior experience includes technical expertise in space system architecture as a Technical Staff member at The Aerospace Corporation, and a Postdoctoral Scholar role at Caltech focusing on executing astronomical surveys and automating telescope systems. Scott's academic credentials include a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Astronomy from The Ohio State University, along with a B.S. in Astronomy and Physics from the University of Arizona.
