Navid Azadi

Navid Azadi is a data scientist with a robust background in machine learning and data analysis, currently employed at STRABAG since November 2024. Previously held the role of Machine Learning Engineer/Data Scientist at PropertyExpert GmbH, focusing on advanced NLP and computer vision solutions within the insurance sector while managing MLOps lifecycles. Contributed as a Working Student at Fraunhofer IAIS, where Navid conducted research for a master thesis on enhancing medical transformer models using knowledge graph node embeddings, resulting in improved predictions for severe COVID-19 cases. Other experiences include roles in data science at Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger Medien and IT security at Max Weber Stiftung, alongside tutoring responsibilities at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.
