Esther O.

Esther O. currently serves as the Senior Director of Strategy and Innovation at Strada Education Foundation, leading the development of multi-year plans for the foundation's key priorities and overseeing cross-functional teams. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Afrotoons since November 2020, Esther O. is also recognized for impactful roles at Twitter as Senior Program Manager for Human Rights, where initiatives were advanced to bolster the platform's commitment to human rights, and at Facebook as Program Manager for Civics/Elections, enhancing operational responses to critical electoral issues. Prior experience includes a position as a Human Capital Consultant at Deloitte, focusing on social impact projects, and as an International Project Coordinator at EDC, managing large education initiatives in Sub-Saharan Africa. Esther O. began her career as a National Teaching Fellow at Citizen Schools and interned with Amnesty International. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in International Education Policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in International Relations and French from Boston University.
