Peter Russell

Peter Russell is an experienced IT leader with a strong background in managing technology operations and engineering teams across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Information Technology at Straker since January 2020, Peter oversees global IT operations, cloud infrastructure, security, and user support while managing technical delivery in product development. Previous roles include Cloud Operations Manager and Cloud Network Engineer at Straker, as well as extensive positions at Telco Technology Services Limited including Head of Technical Design and Project Manager, where Peter contributed to infrastructure projects across New Zealand. Additionally, Peter has held leadership roles in archery organizations, focusing on strategic development and community engagement, while starting a career in technology as an ICT Technician. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing from Massey University.
