Nathan D. Rick

Nathan D. Rick, P.E., S.E. is a structural engineer with extensive experience in the design and inspection of transportation infrastructure, particularly highway bridges. Currently employed at Strand Associates since April 2019, Nathan serves as a Structural Engineer, overseeing a bridge reconstruction project along IL-120. Prior experience includes roles at GRAEF from July 2013 to March 2019, where Nathan was the Lead Structural Design Engineer for transportation projects, and Stanley Consultants from January 2001 to July 2013, focusing on infrastructure-related designs such as the I-90 Fox River Bridge. Nathan began their career as an intern at CMT in 1999, conducting site inspections and documentation. Nathan holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Illinois State University.
