Dr Aarati Karaba

Dr Aarati Karaba has a diverse work experience in the field of life sciences. Dr Aarati worked as a Senior Scientist at Strand Life Sciences since 2016. Prior to that, they were a Technical Sales Specialist - NGS at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Life Technologies) from 2014-2015, where they focused on business development and technical presentations to clinical and research clients. Before that, they were a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platform, National Centre for Biological Sciences from 2011-2014, where they gained expertise in next generation sequencing and genome sequencing. From 2007-2009, they worked as a Project Leader at Avesthagen Limited, and from 2002-2007, they worked as a Researcher at Plant Research International.

Dr. Aarati Karaba has an extensive education history. Dr Aarati started their academic journey in 1988 at Kendriya Vidyalaya, where they completed their schooling. Afterward, they pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture and Animal Husbandry from Uttarakhand Jobs, graduating in 1997. Dr. Karaba then furthered their studies and obtained a Master of Science degree in Crop Physiology from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, in 2001. Finally, they pursued a Ph.D. in Plant Science/Molecular Physiology from Wageningen University & Research, completing their doctoral studies in 2007.
