Neha Bhojani

Neha Bhojani has extensive work experience in the field of bioinformatics and genomics. Neha is currently working as a Senior Bioinformatics Engineer at Strand Life Sciences since December 2021.

Prior to this, Neha worked as a Bioinformatics data scientist from October 2020 to November 2021, where they performed network analysis, specifically gene network inference from high throughput data.

From March 2016 to March 2020, Neha was a Senior Bioinformatics Officer at Sanger Genomics. Their responsibilities included data mining of published genomics data, managing teams to build databases, and developing algorithms and models for better prediction of phenotypes based on genomic markers carried by individuals. Neha also collaborated with wellness and fitness brands to promote the use of nutrigenomics in preventive healthcare systems.

Neha gained experience as a Team Lead at Positive Bioscience from April 2013 to November 2015.

Neha started their career as a Graduate Scientist at Philips, where they worked from October 2010 to November 2012.

Throughout their career, Neha has developed skills in areas such as machine learning, Python, natural language processing (NLP), and genomics.

Neha Bhojani obtained an MSc degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Leicester, where they attended from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, they completed a Data Science masters program from GreyAtom in June 2020.
