Austen Conrad

Austen Conrad's work experience includes being an Executive Vice President and Principal at Strang, Inc. where they lead clients through the firm's design process. Austen also worked as a Senior Vice President and Design Architect at the same company, overseeing projects from concept to construction administration. Prior to that, they were a Design Architect and Real Estate Specialist at Strang, Inc. Austen also founded Conrad Research LLC in 2013 and worked as a Project Manager at Hovde Properties, where they managed commercial tenant and building improvement projects. Austen was the owner of Conrad StudioWorks from 2007 to 2015. Austen has also worked as a HackStar at TechStars, was a Co-founder of Onvent Inc., and was a Co-founder of CandlePath Inc.

Austen Conrad's education history includes a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which was obtained from 2007 to 2009. During the program, Austen specialized in architecture, real estate development, and ecological design. Prior to that, Austen earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the same university from 2003 to 2006, with a focus on architecture and urban planning.

In addition to their formal education, Austen has obtained various certifications. They achieved the NCIDQ Certification (NCIDQ) from the Council for Interior Design Qualification - CIDQ in June 2019. Austen also holds the Real Estate Broker certification from the WI Department of Safety and Professional Services, obtained in June 2014. They have been certified by NCARB (National Council of Architectural Registration Boards) since August 2019 and are recognized as an Architect by the WI Department of Safety and Professional Services, obtaining the certification in May 2019.
