José Juan Madrigal García

José Juan Madrigal García has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. José Juan is currently working as a Mechanical and Product Engineer at STRAP Technologies, Inc., where their main focus is designing plastic parts for manufacturing a device that aims to provide autonomy to visually impaired individuals without the need for a cane.

Prior to this, José worked as an Engineering Manager at IQX de México Biotec from July 2020 to February 2021. In this role, they led a team of engineers and was responsible for developing a maintenance plan for equipment and optimizing processes through mechanical design of equipment and systems.

Before joining IQX de México Biotec, José worked as a Product and Design Engineer at dagaa Development from April 2018 to July 2020. Here, they collaborated with the team to design and prototype innovative products using methodologies such as Scrum. José Juan utilized tools such as 3D printers, CNC machines, and workshop tools during the product development process.

José Juan Madrigal García completed their Preparatoria education at Colegio Cervantes Costa Rica from 2010 to 2013. José Juan then pursued a degree in Ingeniería mecánica at ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara from 2013 to 2018. In 2016, José Juan also engaged in an academic exchange program at Technische Hochschule Ulm, which lasted for a year.
