Jean-Francois Gariepy

Jean-Francois Gariepy has a diverse work experience in the energy and education sectors. Jean-Francois started their career with Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel District as a Tunnel Electrician, where they maintained and repaired electrical power distribution systems, performed load calculations, and troubleshooted various electrical and control systems. In 2019, they joined Strata Clean Energy as a Power Plant Maintenance Technician II, responsible for maintaining and repairing PV systems, electrical power distribution systems, and troubleshooting various electrical, AC/DC, PV, and control systems. Jean-Francois later served as a Training Manager and a District Manager at Strata Clean Energy before becoming the Director of Power Plant Maintenance in October 2022. In addition to their energy industry roles, Jean-Francois Gariepy also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Eastern Shore Community College from March 2020 to November 2021.

Jean-Francois Gariepy obtained a Career Diploma in Electrician from Penn Foster Group in 2017. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Collège Lionel-Groulx between 1996 and 1999. In addition, they hold a certification as a Master Electrician from the State of Virginia.
