Nick Mshar

Nicholas Mshar is the Sr. Vice President of Field Operations at Strata Clean Energy. He started at Strata as the first installer, designed and built the first qualified facility, and since has overseen the construction of several gigawatts of utility scale photovoltaic power plants. He thoroughly understands all stages of project execution from development to operations and maintenance. In his current role, Nick is responsible for project management, construction, safety, quality, and commissioning. Before assuming this position, he held posts as PV System Designer and Installation manager, Director of Operations and Maintenance, VP of Quality and Commissioning and VP of C&I.

Nick applies his experience to pioneer innovative construction methods, ensuring quality and safety, achieving success in project schedules, and bringing the best value to Strata’s customers. Prior to joining Strata in 2009, Nicholas was a designer with Duda I Paine Architects. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is an Instructor at Solar Energy International.
