Denise Wohlgenant

Denise Wohlgenant, CPA has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Denise began their career as a Senior Public Accountant at Veltkamp, Dore & Company, CPA's, where they gained experience in income tax preparation, audit work, and management advisory services. Denise then joined SCI as the Manager of Accounting and Financial Reporting, where they successfully implemented controls, policies, and procedures to streamline financial systems and improve financial statement preparation. Denise later took on the role of Assistant Manager of Finance and Accounting at Maintenance Warehouse, managing various finance functions and assisting with bank financing. At SCI, they further advanced their career as the Regional VP of Finance/Controller, overseeing multiple department managers, implementing strategic financial initiatives, and significantly reducing aged accounts receivable. Denise also served as the Manager of Financial Reporting at SCI, where they were responsible for the financial reporting and analysis of divisional operations. Denise joined Southwest Specialty Food as an Accounting Manager, gaining experience in managing accounting operations. Denise then joined Resources Global Professionals as an Accounting & Finance Professional, where they supported clients in improving their payroll processes and assisted in the development and filing of SEC 10-K reports. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Accounting at StrataTech Education Group, continuing to contribute their expertise in accounting and financial management. Denise Wohlgenant, CPA, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Montana State University-Bozeman from 1977 to 1979. Prior to that, Denise attended Custer County High School. Denise also holds a Certified Public Accountant certification.
