Tayler Schimel

Tayler Schimel serves as a Senior Scientist at Strategic Analysis Incorporated, providing scientific, engineering, and technical assistance for the DARPA Advanced Research Concepts and Innovation Fellowship since December 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Briefing Coordinator at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Center for Agricultural Synthetic Biology from October 2018 to December 2021. Tayler also held positions as a Project Integrator and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Idaho. Tayler obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Idaho.
