Clay Pearson

Clay Pearson is an accomplished leader in local government management and innovation with extensive experience spanning several municipalities. Currently serving as Vice President for Innovation Partnerships at Civic Marketplace and Senior Vice President at SGR, Clay specializes in executive recruitment and organizational development. Previous roles include Interim Chief Transformation Officer for the City of Fort Worth and City Manager for both the City of Pearland, Texas, and the City of Novi, Michigan, where significant improvements in public service delivery were achieved. Clay began a career in local government as an assistant city manager in Elgin and holds an MPA from The University of Kansas and a BA in Economics from Gustavus Adolphus College.
