Chris Biermann

Chris Biermann has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Chris worked as a Finance Director at Strategic Group from April 2018, where they managed financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Moët-Hennessy USA. Prior to this, they were a Business Manager at Empire Merchants from August 2014 to January 2017, responsible for managing numerous wine and spirits portfolios, including William Grant & Sons and The Sazerac Company. Chris also held a role as a Business and Marketing Analyst at Empire Merchants, where they tracked shipments, reported on profit discrepancies, and created reports for incentive programs. Before that, Chris worked as an Adjunct Philosophy Lecturer at the College of Staten Island from August 2009 to July 2013, teaching undergraduate courses on philosophy and ethics. Chris began their career as a Consulting Analyst at Accenture from April 2007 to August 2009, where they worked on performance testing, project management, and team coordination for various projects, including BestBuy and Syngenta Seed. Chris also briefly worked as a Business Services Coordinator at Health Service Innovations from August 2006 to April 2007. Overall, Chris has demonstrated their expertise in finance, business management, analysis, teaching, and consulting throughout their career.

Chris Biermann earned a B.A. degree in Mathematics and Philosophy from Dartmouth College from 2001 to 2006. In 2005, they also studied Mathematics at the Independent University of Moscow. Additionally, in 2004, they briefly attended the University of Edinburgh for Philosophy, Penn State University for Mathematics, and Eötvös Loránd University for Mathematics. Prior to college, Chris graduated from Shakopee Senior High School in 2001 with a High School Diploma with High Honors. In terms of certifications, they obtained the WSET Level 3 Certification in Wine and Spirits with Merit from WSET — Wine & Spirit Education Trust in August 2015. Chris also obtained the WSET Level 2 Certification in Wine and Spirits with Distinction from the same institution in July 2014.
