John Adams

John Adams is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Technical Consultant at Strategic Maintenance Solutions, Inc. since November 2023. Previously, John held multiple roles at NextEra Energy, Inc., including Senior Wind Turbine Mechanical Engineer and Senior PGD Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed providing year-round engineering solutions and technical support for the safe and reliable operation of a diverse renewable energy fleet, including wind and steam turbines from various OEMs. John’s experience also includes a rotational engineering program at NextEra Energy that covered multiple specialties, along with an internship at Verso Paper Corp., focusing on auxiliary operations and maintenance tasks. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Power Engineering Technologies from Maine Maritime Academy, graduating in 2017.
