Wong Chai Vei

Mr. Wong Chai Vei is the Chief Financial Officer of the Strategic Marine Group. He is tasked with managing Strategic Marine Group’s accounting, financial, risk management and taxation matters.

Prior to joining Strategic Marine, Mr. Wong was the Group Financial Controller for EMAS Offshore Limited, a company which is dual listed on the Oslo Børs and the Singapore Exchange. In addition, Mr. Wong was also the Group Financial Controller of Ezra Holdings Limited and he was actively involved in the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Ezra Holdings Limited.

Mr. Wong has accumulated more than 22 years’ of experience in the accountancy profession, having served as Senior Auditor and Audit Manager with Arthur Andersen in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore respectively. He graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Accounting in 1995 and is a member of The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
