Berit Anderson

Berit Anderson has extensive work experience in various organizations and positions. Berit currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director for Future in Review, a role they took on in September 2021. Prior to this, they held the same roles at Strategic News Service starting in 2018. Berit was also a board member for InvestigateWest and YES! Media, starting in 2018. Berit has been a member of the Global Shapers Community since 2014.

In terms of their work in journalism, Berit was the CEO and Co-Founder of Scout Holdings from 2015 to 2018. Berit was the Managing Editor at Crosscut Public Media from 2011 to 2015, and also served as the Managing Editor for The Tribune's publication, The Puget Hound, from 2010 to 2011. Berit began their career as an Editorial Assistant at YES! Magazine in 2009.

Additionally, Berit worked as a Community Development Manager at CSRHUB LLC in 2010, and held a board member position at YES! Magazine from 2018 to the present.

Berit Anderson attended Occidental College from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Diplomacy and World Affairs. Berit also briefly attended Scripps College in 2005-2006. Earlier in their education, Berit attended Brentwood College School and the School for International Training, although the specific years of their attendance are not provided.
