Gemma Hall is a highly experienced professional in medical writing and science communication, with a career spanning over two decades. As a Freelance Medical Writer and Science & Technology Writer since 2012, Gemma has developed a diverse portfolio. Current roles include Bid and Proposal Consultant at Strategic Proposals Limited since April 2018 and Science Educator and Facilitator at Zooniverse from December 2017 to March 2020. Previous experience includes Marketing Consultant at KMS Marketing from July 2013 to July 2016, Senior Medical Writer at Porterhouse Medical Ltd from 2007 to 2012, and Scientist in Infectious Diseases at the Department of Health from 2005 to 2007. Gemma's career began as Manager of Biosciences at the Royal Society of Chemistry from 2003 to 2005. Educationally, Gemma holds a Doctorate and a BA (Hons) in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford.
