Jonathan Kastner

Jonathan Kastner has extensive experience in the food and beverage industry, spanning over several roles and organizations. Jonathan has worked as a Director of Food and Beverage in various hotels and resorts, such as the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel, Windsor Court Hotel, Wyndham Worldwide, Royal Sonesta New Orleans, and Omni Royal Orleans Hotel. In these positions, they oversaw the daily operations of multiple restaurants, bars, banquet operations, and room service. Jonathan has also worked as a Consultant - Director of Food and Beverage - Task Force at Strategic Solution Partners, providing consultancy knowledge and talent to different organizations. Additionally, Kastner has experience as a Regional Director of Food and Beverage at Sunburst Hospitality, where they were responsible for developing and executing global initiatives and strategies for food and beverage across 38 full-service hotels. Prior to that, they owned and served as the executive chef for Golden Pheasant Catering Company, a premier off-premise catering company specializing in New American-style cuisine. Throughout their career, Kastner has demonstrated expertise in menu development, budgeting, team management, and implementing operational improvements.

Jonathan Kastner attended Ferrum College from 1979 to 1980, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the OSHA Campus COVID-19 Awareness Certification from 360training in May 2020, the Texas Food Safety Manager Certification from Learn2Serve in May 2020, the TIPS on Premise certification from the Louisiana Responsible Vendor Program in March 2020, and the ServSafe Food Handler certification from ServSafe Certified in February 2020.
