Luis Steven Salinas

Luis Steven Salinas has a broad range of work experience, beginning in 2006 as Manager for UTSA Basketball, where they were responsible for assuring that both the gym and the locker room were game day ready, providing assistance both on and off the basketball court, and setting up and tearing down film equipment and film room sessions. In 2009, they worked as a Teller for Wells Fargo and a Health and Physical Education Teacher for Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Elementary, where they developed curriculum for cognitive and motor skill development and improvement in children ages 3-11, adapted lesson plans for diverse learning styles, and coached 4-5 graders in local parochial basketball and volleyball. In 2010, they became an Auto Liability Claims Adjuster for Farmers Insurance, followed by a Hard Lines Service Manager for Sports Authority and an Auto Damage Adjuster for GEICO in 2014. In 2018, they began working as a Business System Analyst for AIG and continued in this role at ACCC Insurance Company in 2019. In 2020, they transitioned to a Senior Business Analyst role at AIG Retirement Services, which they currently hold, and they are expected to transition to a Senior Business Analyst role at Strategic Solutions Group (SSG) in 2022.

Luis Steven Salinas began their educational journey in 1999 when they graduated from Tuloso Midway High School with a high school diploma. Luis Steven then attended The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2003 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. In 2010, they obtained a Texas All Level Teaching Certification from The University of Texas at San Antonio. In 2013, they obtained a Texas Adjusters Licence from Farmers Insurance.
