Saim Yousaf

Saim Yousaf has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Saim started their career as an Associate Software Engineer at ZIN Technologies Private Limited in February 2015. Saim then transitioned to the role of Database Developer, where they designed and implemented stored procedures, views, and other application database code objects. Saim also performed quality testing and assurance for SQL servers.

In 2017, Saim joined Strategic Systems International as a Senior Software Engineer. Here, they gained deep expertise in various technologies such as SQL Server, Redshift, MySQL Aurora, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Saim worked on database development, ETL using Data Pipelines, database migration services, and other AWS services like Lambda, IAM, SNS, S3, CloudWatch, and EC2. Saim also had hands-on experience with Apache Airflow, lifecycle transition policies, data optimization, and troubleshooting ETL processes. Saim also assisted the QA team in testing complex scenarios and implemented data warehousing structures like star and snowflake schemas. Saim was responsible for the creation and management of databases, database objects, users, and roles. Saim developed stored procedures for optimizing statistics collection on production databases and automated data ETL processes. Overall, Saim Yousaf has a strong background in software engineering and database development.

Saim Yousaf began their education at New Saint Mary's High School in 1996, where they pursued their Matriculation degree in Computer Science until 2008. Following this, from 2008 to 2010, Saim attended Government College Of Science Lahore, where they completed their Intermediate Fsc degree in the field of Science. Lastly, from 2010 to 2015, Saim enrolled at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
