Waseem Rauf

Waseem Rauf has had a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Waseem started their career at Bentley Systems in 2002 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they led the development cycle of next-generation plant products and designed and implemented editing tools that received exceptional acclaim.

In 2011, Waseem joined Strategic Systems International as a Project Manager, where they led multiple projects in fintech, algorithmic trading, and digital commerce. Waseem introduced novel team structures to enable high-performing teams and managed up to 70 engineers. Waseem later became a Project Director, overseeing high-profile clients in the digital retail and advertising space. Waseem was responsible for client engagement, delivery, and program management, working with top industry giants.

Additionally, Waseem worked as a Visiting Faculty at The University of Management and Technology in Lahore from 2013 to 2015.

Waseem Rauf has a diverse education history. Waseem completed their Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from The University of Lahore, where they attended from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. Waseem successfully obtained their degree in Civil Engineering after studying at the university from 1995 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Waseem has also acquired several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These include "Building High Performance Teams" from the Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) LUMS in February 2022, "Professional Networking," "Starting a Memorable Conversation," and "Managing Your Time" from LinkedIn in August 2020, and the "SCJP" certification from Sun Microsystems in July 2000.
