Richard Castellano

Richard Castellano has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Richard was Senior Vice President of Strategic Development at Strategic Tech Solutions LLC, where they assisted in transitioning the company to new ownership and supported the new CEO. Prior to this, they served as President/CEO/Partner and Chief Financial Officer/Partner at the same company, providing operational and strategic support for a team of 50 employees.

Before their time at Strategic Tech Solutions LLC, Castellano worked at TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. as Senior Vice President of Finance & Business Operations for Command and Control Technologies. Richard also held positions at Lockheed Martin, including Director of CFO Global Solutions, Director of CFO Transportation Solutions, Director of CFO Enterprise IT Solutions, and Director of Controller.

Throughout their career, Castellano demonstrated expertise in business operations, financial planning, risk management, and leadership. Richard has worked in various industries, including software development, system engineering, telecommunications, and aerospace.

Richard Castellano has a diverse educational background spanning over several years. Richard began their higher education journey in 1977 at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, with a general focus. Richard successfully completed their undergraduate program in 1982.

Focusing on enhancing their knowledge and expertise in the field of International Business, Castellano pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Richard embarked on this academic pursuit in 1999 and completed their studies in 2001.

Seeking further specialization and professional qualifications, Castellano placed their focus on maritime studies. In 2017, they enrolled at USCG REC (United States Coast Guard Regional Examination Center) to obtain a Masters captains license. Their license encompasses a range of certifications, including: 100 GTN (Gross Tons Near Coastal) inland waterways and near coastal with sail & tow endorsement. Castellano successfully completed this program in 2027.

In addition to their academic achievements, Castellano earned the certification of Master captain 100 GTN near coastal, awarded by the U.S. Coast Guard in January of 2018.
