Awais Athar

Awais Athar is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software development and academia. Currently serving as Co-founder and CTO at strategize.inc since June 2025 and as a Technical Advisor at auxcube since January 2022, Awais has previously held significant roles such as Software Development Project Leader at EMBL-EBI and Principal Software Engineer at Conrad Labs. Awais's academic career includes positions as Assistant Professor, Lecturer, and Instructor at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences from 2006 to 2015. A doctoral graduate from the University of Cambridge with a Ph.D. in Natural Language and Information Processing, Awais also holds an MPhil in Computer Speech, Text and Internet Technology from the same institution and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences.
